Hi all,
I have a Lync 2013 SE Front End Server and a Lync 2013 Edge Server in DMZ. I am trying to get Mobilty to work, aswell as Push Notification. I have configured the Mobility Push for LyncOnline in Control Panel.
I run the following command from my Front End Server:
PS C:\Windows\system32> Test-CsMcxPushNotification -AccessEdgeFqdn edge01.domain.co.uk
Test-CsMcxPushNotification : A 504 (Server time-out) response was received from the network and the operation failed.
See the exception details for more information.

I have checked the following. the Default Sip domain is our INTERNAL domain (domain.local)
- PS C:\Windows\system32> Get-CsSipDomain
Identity Name IsDefault
-------- ---- ---------
domain.local domain.local True
domain.co.uk domain.co.uk False
domain.com domain.com False
- My Edge Server in Lync Topology Edge Pool is called 'Edge01.domain.co.uk' (netbios name too)
- Access Edge Service is sip.domain.com
- Federation SRV record on External DNS: (nothing for domain.local as internal)
SRV : 5061 : _sipfederationtls._tcp.domain.com
à sip.domain.com
SRV : 5061 : _sipfederationtls._tcp.domain.co.uk
à sip.domain.co.uk
My question is this.
1. Is there any harm in changing the default sip domain to ingeus.com? or will this screw up my live environment, certificates etc.
My Live environment is Lync 2010 but there is no External connectivity of any sort, only internal IM / Presence - I am looking to migrate to lync 2013
2. Do I need to configure external SRV record for the FQDN of the Edge server? (aswell as to the Access Edge Service)
SRV : 5061 : _sipfederationtls._tcp.domain.com à Edge01.domain.co.uk
SRV : 5061 : _sipfederationtls._tcp.domain.co.uk à Edge01.domain.co.uk
Thanks
