We recently upgraded from Lync 2010 to Lync 2013. We do not use enterprise voice. It has been brought to my attention that users are no longer able to create meetings on behalf of another user in Outlook.
I have read about the delegation in 2013 and this is not an option for us since we do not use Enterprise voice.
Am I correct that the only way a user can schedule a meeting on behalf of another user in Lync 2013 is if both parties are EV enabled? Is there another workaround? I find it odd that a calendar scheduling function/permissions needs to be tied to voice.
Any advice, or I am going to have some very unhappy Lync 2013 customers (they are already upset that they can no longer look for a person by phone extension, something you could do in 2010)
