Good Evening
We are busy with our Lync 2013 deployment on all our campuses. We want to keep our exiting telephone number prefix (382) for all our campuses. The issue now is that two of our distant campuses which consist of about a 100 extension users each, has a number conflict with our main campus. The two distant campuses has a different prefix as well. For example the main campus has 382-3500 and the distant campus 745-3500. With a Snom IP phone I could log on with two different accounts simultaneous. Thus meaning the client will have 3500 on his phone and 1000. With the 1000 number the staff members from the main campus will be able to dial the user of 3500 on the distant campus. Now my question is how do I route the number 3500 when dialled at the distance campus to reach the user on ext 3500 on the main campus? All three sites breakout local for external calls. My suggestion was to add a unique digit to 3500 range which should be route to the main campus. This being said we want to keep it as simple as possible for both campuses to dial each other.
Best regards
Eugene
