for 3000 users, want to use lync standard edition server (not enterprise ), features persistence, IM, A/V conf, external acces, PPT sharing, HA in DC, DR.
servers :- DC (1 standard server, 1 Edge server, 1 Office web app server), DR(1 standard server, 1 edge server, 1 office web ap server)
Q1. As persistence chat role can be collocated with standard server, do i need separate sql for backend for peristence as SQL express will small in capacity?
Q2. can i reduce the server count?
Q3 HA is poosible with pool pairing of standard servers?
Q4 as technet says, no HA for persistence chat while collocated with standard , is there any other way?
Q5 HA for Edge possible with stretched pool?
Q6. DR for peristence chat? do i need streched pool?
