MobileIron with Lync 2013 Mobile App

Hello, 

I will really appreciate if the community will help me out with this.

I want the Lync 2013 Mobile App to login to Lync using MobileIron (Basically use MobileIron servers as reverse proxy). I was being told that this will not work because MobileIron does not support UDP. But my thought is that since Lync uses TCP for IM, Voice and Video, this will not be a problem.

So my question to you is that has anyone authenticated their Lync Client using MobileIron successfully in the past?
