Hello,
According to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj205304.aspx the bitness of the plugin must match the bitness of the OS.
I have a client PC that has Windows 7 SP1 x64 with 32bit Office 2010 Pro Plus (No Lync) installed, and I would like to install the the 2013 Lync VDI plugin on it. When I tried to install the x64 Lync VDI plugin but I get this error:
"We can't install the 64-bit version of Office because we found the following 32-bit programs on your PC: Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. Please uninstall all 32-bit Office programs, then retry installing 64-bit Office. If you want to install 32-bit Office instead, please run the 32-bit setup."
So, can I install the 32 bit Lync VDI plugin or not on this 64 bit OS?
Thanks!
