We have set up Lync Server 2013 on premise (Standalone, not enterprise)
Everything seems to be functioning so far, except for when we login we get this message:
"Your chat room access may be limited due to an outage"
And if I login to the Lync server and check the Persistent chat section, I see this message on the category tab:
1 Warning
Get-CsPersistentChatCategory : There must be at least one pool with Persistent Chat installed.
On the Add-In tab, I get this message:
1 Warning
Get-CsPersistentChatAddin : There must be at least one pool with Persistent Chat installed.
Clearly the server thinks that there is no pool with persistent chat installed.
I have created and enabled a persistent chat policy for the pool, and checked the box for Enable persistent chat. I have also created a persistent chat configuration at the Site level.
I have not done any other setup for Persistent chat, I thought it was part of the main deployment.
If anyone knows what I might be missing, a little help would be greatly appreciated.
