I have a few of questions around Lync DBs.
My customer is going with a 2 node SQL cluster (their DBAs prefer clusters to mirrors).
Im designing for 1000 users with BackEnd DB, Monitoring and Archiving (Traditional as they don't have Exchange 2013)/
What size DB/Logs would be reasonable for 1000 users based upon the above?
Can/Should the BackendDB, Monitoring and Archiving DB be in the same instance?
We want to deploy reporting services (which I understand cant be clustered), is there any HA available for this?
Can reporting services sit in the same instance as the other DBs?
What Instance Features are required in SQL setup for my requirements?
Apologies for loads of questions but I find TechNet a minefield when it comes to getting simple answers.
