Hello,
We currently have 2 lync pools that are paired in two different Datacenters. One of these Data Center locations is changing, so one of the pools (3 FE server, and 3 SQL servers mirrored) will be physically moved. This pool does not currently have any users on it. We plan on pausing the SQL mirroring and powering them down for the move.
Do we need to fail the empty pool over to the site that is not changing? Does anything need to be done on the dc1 pool since its paired partner will be down?
I guess in simple terms, my concern is that since one of the pools will be down (probably 3 days), will the pool that is up Backup Service try to keep the two pools in sync? will this cause issues? or will the Backup Service pick up when the 2nd pool is powered on, and then get the 2 pools back in sync?
