Layer-2 Broadcast domain

For Lync 2010 when stretched FE Pools were supported, the following stands out "dispersed clusters must be part of the same stretched VLAN, using the same Layer-2 broadcast domain." 

It is understood that Lync 2013 doesn't support stretched FE Pools, though is the requisite of the Layer-2 broadcast domain still true? Yes or No?
