Edge server support users in other pools?

Hi guys,

Have two central sites I'm setting up, single pool in each. I'm thinking of having a single edge server in each site, however this would only work if the edge in site A would work for users in pool B, and vice-versa.

Wondering about doing DNS LB for the edge URLs - e.g. access, conf and AV. 2 A records for each, each one pointing to the public IP of an edge server. In the event that a user in pool A (site A) gets and IP for the edge server in site B, would this work?

The FE pools will be paired together too, allowing for failover.
